NEED:
- 1 cup white rice (we use jasmine) RINSED
- 1 cup water or broth
- salt
- 1/2-1 cup chopped cilantro (to taste)
- 1 clove garlic *if using
- 1 lime juiced (can substitute with lime juice)
DO:
- mix rice and water/broth in the instapot
- cook on high pressure, 10 minutes. let natural release 10 minutes
- mix together cilantro, garlic (*) and lime juice (i prefer to blend this)
- stir into cooked rice
NO INSTAPOT?
- use the stove- mix rice and water,/broth (increase water/broth to 1.5 cups) bring to a boil, reduce to simmer, cook covered 20 minutes
