weekly meal plan- August

WEEK OF: 8/1 to 8/8 



white wine marinade:
a variation of a marinade my mama makes! it is sooooo tasty on chicken and i imagine it would be amazing on pork chops as well!
  • one small white wine (i used individual sized sauvignon blanc but you can also use pinot grigio. both gallo and sutter home have economically priced individual bottles that are easy to keep on hand for cooking) 
  • splash of garlic olive oil (can use regular olive oil, or a different flavor olive oil or only canola)
  • little big of canola oil (double the garlic oil-ish)
  • dash of dry mustard (like 2 tsp?) 
  • salt and pepper 
  • splash of soy sauce (2 T?) 
  • dried herbs (tarragon or italian herbs- 1 T?) 
mix together in a plastic gallon sized bag. add meat. let marinade in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (up to overnight).
