turkey sausage kabobs are a super quick and easy to make dinner!
there are many kinds of turkey sausage, our favorite is Hillshire
NEED:
- turkey sausage
- kabob veggies of your choice:
- bell peppers (any color)
- white mushrooms
- cherry tomatoes
- red onion
DO:
- preheat grill
- cut sausage into 1-1 1/2 inch chunks
- prep kabob veggies
- peppers: cut into 1 inch sized squares
- white mushrooms: gently rinse, and wipe dry with a paper towel
- cherry tomatoes: rinse
- red onion: cut into 1 inch sized chunks
- thread kabob skewers
- drizzle with oil, salt and pepper
- grill until sausage is warm, and veggies are slightly charred
NO GRILL?
options include: broil the kabobs in the oven or make this into a sheet pan meal!
TIPS:
- we like to use flexible skewers such as these
- if you are using wooden skewers, soak them in water first!
