no garlic pesto

as you may (or may not know), i am garlic free and have to get creative with some of my favorite things that have garlic in them- 

today i tried a super simple pesto

1 cup pine nuts, lightly toasted on the stove in a dry skillet 
2 cups fresh basil leaves 
2 T olive oil (i did use garlic olive oil as garlic is not fat soluble) 
1/4 cup canola (or neutral) oil 
1/2 fresh lemon, squeezed!
salt and pepper 

blend/food process it all together 

i have an immersion blender so i pulsed with a little oil first, then added the rest of the oil. was a bit thick so i added some water and then pulsed again.
